An important day for me

A landmark day, really. Because my long-awaited (by me, anyway) debut novel went up for preorder today. Don’t know if anyone is reading this blog besides me, but seems like I should mark this day, which really is an important day for me, with a post. What tropical storm Fay brought to my back yard today

  Fay came through here today, flooding many parts of town. But a bright spot showed up in all of this in the form of my little winged refugee here, who was nice enought to stay long enough for us to snap a pic of him.
